MCQA assembles a group of experts for each procedure and appoints a chairperson. The selection process complies with specific criteria and takes account of the profile and the development goals of the respective higher education institution or course of study. MCQA makes sure that the experts are independent and able to make impartial judgments. The university alone is able to call into question the independence of specific teams. It is therefore involved in the selection process, but without compromising the integrity of the latter.
